CC-Tapis

cc-tapis was founded in Italy in 2011 by couple Nelcya Chamszadeh (French) and Fabrizio Cantoni (Italian). The luxury rug company is based in Milan where a team of designers lead by Daniele Lora, art-director and partner, innovate through a new approach to traditional methods. cc-tapis produces it's pieces in Nepal which are handknotted by Tibetan artisans. A strong respect for the materials and for the culture of this ancient craft is reflected in every step of the company's production process. A process that remains outside of industrial norms which is sustainable by nature and ecologically friendly by design. cc-tapis embraces and celebrates these ancient techniques and strives to achieve the same levels of sustainability in every aspect of the company.

Through collaboration with prominent artists and designers, cc-tapis has become a source for cutting-edge contemporary hand-knotted rugs. The Italian rug brand’s offerings are defined by moody, multidimensional forms and riotous fields of color. Far from merely translating a design into a rug, the company performs each step by hand, meticulously replicating the look and feel of a given concept. It is this fusion of tradition and innovation that has defined the brand, making the stunning rugs it produces highly sought after throughout the world.
