Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola brings her modern sensibility to CC-Tapis on a series of handknotted rugs. Visioni A features bold geometric shapes artfully positioned to create a stunning 3D effect. An unprecedented synthesis between an age-old technique and abstract graphics. Each rug is produced solely by hand with colors and materials that testify to the desire to give value to ancient production techniques adding a contemporary breath to them.

CC-Tapis
Born in France, designed in Milan, and produced in Nepal, cc-tapis offers beautiful hand-crafted rugs from some of the world’s leading artists and designers. Each cc-tapis rug tells a story of tradition, quality and contemporary design. At the centre of these stories is a traditional production process where a group of Tibetan artisans work by hand, refining natural materials, passing down artisanal know-how from generation to generation.

Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo, Spain in 1961 and studied architecture and design at the Madrid Polytechnic. In 2001 she opened her own studio with focus on architecture, design and installation projects. She is one of the world's most influential creatives and has collaborated with CC-Tapis to design unique and contemporary handmade rugs.
