The Ercol Romana Dining Table designed by Dylan Freeth was the perfect table for Amy's dining area. The wide proportions created a generous space to enjoy a meal with the family. Also having the legs at the table ends meant that each person can easily pull in their chair without having a let in the way. The table features a discreet extension that folds together and flips out of sight underneath the table. It's a decent extension and definitely comes in handy when family and friends pay a visit.
We spent years looking for the right table ... I love that this one is wide and extendable and has a mid-century style.
This stylish solid oak dining table features a beautiful curved edge detail to the long sides of the table top which combines with the curves and chamfers of the legs to give an organic feel to the piece. The table features a reciprocating mechanism—pull on one end to extend and the other end opens at the same time. The extension leaf is stored within the table as a butterfly mechanism—it is simply flipped open into place.
Romana is a modern dining and living-room furniture collection with soft curves and sophisticated craftsmanship that emphasise Ercol’s skill in working with solid timber. Each piece is made from sustainable pale oak and finished in a clear matt lacquer to both protect the timber and show off its beauty.
The Extending Dining Table is part of a wider Romana collection. The Large Sideboard is a handsome dining storage solution that ties in perfectly with this piece.
