Laguz Bookend
Designed by Swiss-French designer Julie Richoz, Laguz turns a practical bookend into a small sculpture. The sharply defined profile and textured cast iron surface give it a presence of its own, whether supporting a row of books or standing alone.
Laguz is cast in Sweden and cured with rapeseed oil. Each bookend weighs 3 kg and is sold individually.

The Maker /
Nedre Foss
Norwegian brand Nedre Foss has cultivated a design direction founded in thoughtful, slow living. A curated set of home objects that are intended to be used and equally appreciated as sculptural pieces to enhance the everyday. Founded on the concept of the 'Century Product', the goal is to create objects that will last for at least 100 years and where utility and sculptural qualities are equal parts of the function.
The Designer /
Julie Richoz
Julie Richoz brings a sculptor’s eye to everyday objects. Working from Paris, the Swiss-French designer explores colour, texture and proportion across furniture, lighting, textiles and smaller pieces for the home. Her designs invite a closer look, whether through an unexpected silhouette, a carefully judged surface or the way an object feels in use.
