Suzy Table Lamp
Using reductive forms and recycled materials, Cam Barrett creates highly contemporary, architectural lighting pieces. Referencing the female form, Suzy is crafted with 3D sculpting and printing techniques using 100% recycled PLA material.
Cam works exclusively with recycled PLA, a renewable polymer made from corn and sugarcane, sourced locally from a company that transforms post-industrial food packaging and recycled plastics into high quality PLA filament. It’s a slow, intentional approach to making — one rooted in responsibility and craft.
NOTE:
In situ images show the larger, 35cm model of this lamp in white.
– PLA is a bioplastic derived from corn starch and sugar cane
