Reprise Chair with Cushion
Reprise Chair with Cushion, designed by Norm Architects, pairs architecture-informed poise with lounge-worthy ease. Launched in 2020, this collaboration with the celebrated Danish architectural and industrial design practice balances elevated architectural references with an effortlessly graceful, subtle presence, reflecting a human-centric design perspective that favors clarity, comfort and timeless restraint.
Honoring Ercol’s legacy of craftsmanship, the chair draws on time-honored woodturning and steam-bending. That mastery, exemplified by Ercol’s steam-bent bow backs formed from a single ash rail, informs Reprise’s seamless line that sweeps around the backrest for a graceful, uninterrupted silhouette. The cushioned seat invites lingering, while the sculpted timber frame lends enduring comfort and poise.
