Evoking Ercol’s mid-century heritage, the Winslow Bed brings a poised, modern calm to the bedroom. Crafted from vibrant oak, its finely strutted headboard and tapering legs are finished in a contemporary dead matt lacquer that celebrates the timber’s grain. The silhouette nods to the sculptural clarity of classic Ercol spindle work while remaining refreshingly minimal and easy to live with.
Designed by Lisa Gould-Sandall, Winslow unites heritage craft with modern function. Sprung birch wood slats add supportive comfort when paired with your mattress, while the understated finish invites layered textures and soft neutrals.

Ercol
Ercol was founded in England in 1920 by a young Italian, Lucian Ercolani. His simple goal was to make furniture that was well designed and made in a good working environment by craftsmen who took real pride in their jobs.
Today, Ercol remains a family owned company committed to protecting and sharing its highly celebrated legacy. This is achieved through a time-honoured commitment to innovation in manufacturing and design.

Lisa Gould-Sandall
Lisa Gould Sandall has been part of the ercol design studio since 2011; she has designed many popular pieces of furniture including the Shalstone bedroom range and the Svelto round stacking stool which received the Design Guild Mark Award for excellence in furniture design in 2015.
