Rex Kralj

Niko Kralj is a highly celebrated central figure of Slovenian post-war design, his designs have come to represent a key part of the Slovenian cultural identity. Krajl's work is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and is also part of the collection of the Danish Design Museum in Copenhagen, among other high profile international exhibitions.

Slovenian company Rex Kralj pays tribute to architect Niko Kralj in both name and style. The idea for the company was sparked after an encounter with the iconic Rex chair, Niko's most famous design. The Rex chair sparked the kind of passion that grabs someone when encountering a truly stunning design for the first time. That moment provided the inspiration to establish the Rex Kralj brand to honor the legacy and the design principles set by Kralj.
