Rabarbra Vase
Named for rhubarb in Norwegian, the Rabarbra Vase distills Anderssen & Voll’s crisp sensibility into a pure composition of cylinder and disc. Conceived from a rudimentary full scale sketch with colored plastic foil, its strict architectural grammar meets a quietly animated presence, reading like a stylized flower, the poised top resting on the body like petals on a stem.
Produced by Norwegian label Nedre Foss, a brand founded and backed by Anderssen & Voll with a mission to pursue The Century Product, uniting function and sculptural quality for lasting use. The designers’ studio is known for refined, human centered objects that elevate everyday rituals, and the vase slips naturally into that lineage, a collectible accessory designed to be lived with for decades.

Norwegian brand Nedre Foss has cultivated a design direction founded in thoughtful, slow living. Founded on the concept of the 'Century Product', the goal is to create objects that will last for at least 100 years and where utility and sculptural qualities are equal parts of the function.

Anderssen & Voll
Anderssen & Voll is an award-winning Norwegian design studio that embodies the New Nordic style. It was founded in 2009 by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll. The duo have been working together for close to twenty years. Both come from creative backgrounds – one from a family of artists and architects, the other a family of musicians.
