1960 Chair
In 1957 Niko Kralj embarked on a six-month advanced study training programme in Sweden. While there he immersed himself in Scandinavian design culture and worked in Olaf Pir’s design bureau. Three years later Kralj launched his now iconic 1960 Chair.
This iteration of the 1960 chair features a minimalist metal frame and aligns with Kralj’s earlier utilitarian work like the 1956 designed Shell chair. An elegant, curved plywood seat gives the chair a simple yet comfortable form that defines this iconic offering.
– Black powder-coated steel frame.
– Seat and back in natural or black lacquered oak plywood.
– Upholstery options available - see specification sheet.
– Authentic Modern Design
– Made in Slovenia
