Matching the height of the sofa while referencing the traditional Japanese, short-legged chabudai dining table, the A-CT01 coffee table can be utilised while seated on the floor. The transparent glass top highlights the structure of the legs in an honest way, celebrating the material.
This coffee table is one of twelve tailor-made furniture pieces that make up the first collection of Karimoku Case Study, the Kinuta Terrace Project, all drawing on the natural references of the connected courtyard in an attempt to invite in nature as much as possible — in their design language as well as through their material compositions.

The Origins of Karimoku Furniture
The origins of Karimoku date back to 1940, when Shohei Kato took over a longstanding timber company and established a small woodworking shop in the town of Kariya, Aichi. The Karimoku brand has since been firmly established as a synonym of fine quality furniture and proof of reliable design solutions; a reputation they have maintained to this day.
