Made by Warm Nordic

Warm Nordic is a Danish company that celebrates the rich history of mid-century Scandinavian design alongside work from today's leading Scandinavian designers. The curated selection of furniture, lighting and design objects exude the warm, informal mood that for centuries has been the very essence of Scandinavian design.

All designs, whether classic or new, cultivate the essentially timeless Nordic spirit. Warm Nordic embraces Nordic beauty, understanding of materials and traditional craftsmanship.

I hope that many people will be delighted with this integrated, curated universe, which expresses the warm, informal mood so typical of Scandinavian design.

Designed by Welling/Ludvik

Using modern, high-quality materials and world-renowned production techniques, Welling/Ludvik designs for Warm Nordic showcase quality craftsmanship and timeless expression. The design duo – comprised of Hee Welling and Gudmundur Ludvik – are continually looking for new perspectives on design and how to realise their ideas using sustainable solutions.

Welling/Ludvik designs are characterised by a pure aesthetic with references to Scandinavian design tradition. With any excess removed, each detail of their designs serve a specific purpose. This reflects Welling/Ludvik’s fundamental belief that good design will always be interesting, even when reduced to its simplest form.
