'Romana' 2 Door Sideboard – Ercol

'Romana' 2 Door Sideboard – Ercol

Maker: Ercol
Designer: Dylan Freeth | UK

This compact oak sideboard has two separate storage cupboards providing plenty of storage space. The front edge of the sideboard top bears the signature soft curve, and the legs have the fluid organic curves and chamfers, that characterise Romana.

The cupboard sections each have a wooden shelf mounted on pins and can be adjusted in height. The door hinges have soft-close mechanisms to give a gentle shut.

Romana’s style is distinctly modern with a low contemporary outline that echos the clean lines of ercol’s vintage mid-century designs. Each piece is made from sustainable pale oak and finished in a clear matt lacquer to both protect the timber and show off its beauty.

Made by Ercol

Ercol was founded in England in 1920 by a young Italian, Lucian Ercolani. His simple goal was to make furniture that was well designed and made in a good working environment by craftsmen who took real pride in their jobs. Today, Ercol remains a family owned company committed to protecting and sharing its highly celebrated legacy.

Design has always been at the heart of ercol’s rich history – design for comfort, design for function and design for beauty.
