'Forma' Chair – Ercol

'Forma' Chair – Ercol

Maker: Ercol
Designer: Dylan Freeth | UK
Year: 2017

Forma is a timeless design combining strong straight lines with gentle curves to create a generous, welcoming dining chair. The solid oak frame is pared back and durable, it’s mortice and Tenon joints pegged by hand to lock the structure together. The formed oak veneer seat floats above the frame, the spaces between the two giving the chair a visual lightness.

Designed to sit along side the Ponte table this timeless design is made of solid oak and oak veneers and is available in two finishes natural and chestnut.

Made by Ercol

Ercol was founded in England in 1920 by a young Italian, Lucian Ercolani. His simple goal was to make furniture that was well designed and made in a good working environment by craftsmen who took real pride in their jobs. Today, Ercol remains a family owned company committed to protecting and sharing its highly celebrated legacy.

Design has always been at the heart of ercol’s rich history – design for comfort, design for function and design for beauty.
