IO is a premium collection of coffee table designs which exuded an aura of understated luxury forged from the same DNA as the Ercol Originals and showcases the full extent of the maker's capabilities.

Named after one of Jupiter’s moons, the IO Collection was designed with naturalistic features that we can’t help but interact with; soft curves and soothing matte finishes. There is nothing apologetic about the table’s presence in the room yet it manages to blend in seamlessly with the rest of the L.Ercolani pieces.

Lars B. Fjetland

The Maker /

Ercol

Ercol was founded in England in 1920 by a young Italian, Lucian Ercolani. His simple goal was to make furniture that was well designed and made in a good working environment by craftsmen who took real pride in their jobs. Today, Ercol remains a family owned company committed to protecting and sharing its highly celebrated legacy.

The Designer /

Lars B. Fjetland

Emboldened by elements of his Nordic upbringing, Lars Beller Fjetland has fostered a deep appreciation for the natural world and its indispensable presence in the field of design. First introduced to woodworking as a child, he regards wood as “the very root of [his] ever-growing passion for designing and creating objects.” In 2011, he established his self-titled design office, Beller Design, with the ambition to cultivate objects that fulfil their purpose without sacrificing the aesthetic appeal for which they are sought.
