While we are all familiar with the monochromatic shelving so iconic to Tomado, news that the innovative brand would be reissuing its historic coloured variations got us embracing our inner artist. Paying homage to the company's 1950s roots; these modular shelves recall Tomado's original colourful designs, while still making a striking contemporary statement.

Inspired by the founder of the De Stijl movement, Piet Mondrian, these shelves cleverly reference the seminal modernist artist in their grid-like structure and floating blocks of colour. With De Stijl simply meaning 'Style' in Dutch, these shelves certainly live up to the legacy of this prolific art movement.

Every true artist has been inspired more by the beauty of lines and color and the relationships between them than by the concrete subject of the picture.
— Piet Mondrian
